Since the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, every week that Parliament sits the name of a member of the Parliamentary community who lost their life serving in a world war has been read out as part of a ceremony displaying their page of the Houses’ books of remembrance.
Today, I was privileged to lead the ceremony, remembering the sacrifice of Second Lieutenant Garnet Norman of the Royal Fusiliers.
