Crawley Labour Hustings

On Saturday 25th March, Crawley Labour Party will be choosing our candidate for the next General Election.

The meeting will begin at 12pm, with each candidate giving a 5-minute speech and taking questions from attendees together as a panel for a period of one hour, followed by voting. Once you have cast your ballot you are free to leave or you can wait for the final result to be announced.

To participate in the vote you need, members need to have joined the party before 12th July 2022 and be a fully paid-up member on the day of the selection. Out of fairness to the candidates, anyone who arrives after the first candidate has begun speaking will be ineligible to participate in the vote. You can check your current membership status using this link.

The hustings will be taking place at Oriel High School, Maidenbower Lane, Crawley RH10 7XW. The school has substantial parking provision, it is on the 100 bus route and there is a cut-through between Maidenbower and Furnace Green under the railway immediately adjacent to the school for pedestrians and cyclists.

The deadline for absent votes has now passed. If you have already registered to vote remotely the deadline to complete your ballot is 12pm this Friday (24th March).
