Cllr Peter Lamb, Leader of Crawley Borough Council, is calling on the people of Crawley to book their booster jabs as part of a major national effort to protect the country from the Omicron variant.
Cllr Lamb said: “No one wants to see Christmas cancelled, but unless we all do what we can to limit the spread of this latest COVID variant, we know that is what is going to happen. Getting a jab is the easiest way of protecting yourself and the ones you love, while helping to protect local businesses and services from further harm.
“The council is actively monitoring infection rates in Crawley and stands ready to reimpose local restrictions if case numbers continue their current trajectory.
